Narrowing your search to particular streets

• Start with your daily life. Think about where you’ll travel to most often, then look at the neighbourhoods around it.
• Move from a neighbourhood to a street. For example, Reid Terrace is one of the streets of the Stockbridge Colonies, beside the Water of Leith.
• Choose specific streets. A postcode district can cover many streets, so search for the particular street or home you have in mind.
• Check the address. Make sure the street and postcode are the ones you mean before you pin.
• Pin places you would genuinely consider, and update your pins as your plans change.

These streets are examples of how to search. They don’t mean anyone has pinned or claimed homes there.
