Find pre-market homes in Manchester
HomePinr is a UK pre-market property platform. In Manchester, you can record interest in the streets and homes you’d actually like to live on — even if nothing there is for sale yet — and homeowners can see that interest.
Start with where you want to live
Most property searches begin with whatever happens to be listed this week. If you already know the part of Manchester you want — a particular street near work, a school or a park — you can record that interest on HomePinr now.
For first-time buyers, that means you can stay focused on the places that genuinely suit you, rather than widening your search every time nothing suitable comes up.
Manchester city or Greater Manchester?
“Manchester” can mean two different things. Manchester city is the City of Manchester council area, which includes neighbourhoods such as Didsbury, Chorlton, Levenshulme, Withington and Ancoats.
Greater Manchester is the wider region of ten boroughs: Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside and Wigan.
HomePinr works across the UK, so you can pin homes and streets anywhere in Greater Manchester. Just search for the exact address or street you mean.
Narrowing your search to particular streets
- Start broad, then zoom in. Search a postcode district such as M20, which covers parts of Didsbury, or M21, which covers parts of Chorlton, to get your bearings on the map. Postcode districts don’t follow exact neighbourhood boundaries.
- Choose the actual street. Pick the specific street you want — for example, a road off Burton Road in West Didsbury, or near Beech Road in Chorlton.
- Check the name and postcode. Some street names appear in more than one part of Greater Manchester, so make sure the street you pin is in the postcode district you intend.
- Pin places you would genuinely consider. Start with streets that suit your day-to-day life, and update your pins as your plans change.
These areas are examples of how to search. They don’t mean anyone has pinned or claimed homes there.
For buyers: search the map and pin
Search any UK address, street or postcode, then pin a single home or a whole street on the map — whether or not anything there is currently for sale. Your pins record your interest.
If your pin overlaps with a claimed property, you can be notified—whether the buyer pins first or the homeowner claims first.
For Manchester homeowners: claim your property
Claim your property on HomePinr to see buyer interest that has been recorded for your home and your street.
Claiming is a self-declaration: HomePinr does not currently check ownership independently. Each property can only be claimed once.
When interest and a claim overlap
A match happens when a buyer’s pinned home or street overlaps with a claimed property, in either order. Both sides can be notified, and a conversation can begin through HomePinr’s messaging. Buyers are shown to homeowners with general labels rather than their names.
Claiming isn’t a decision to sell
Claiming a property does not mean the homeowner has decided to sell. A match doesn’t guarantee a reply, a viewing, a sale or a purchase.
Works alongside your usual property search
Keep using property portals and estate agents for homes already on the market. HomePinr gives you another way to show interest in specific homes and streets before they are listed.
